SoundMAX Problem, please help!

Hi Y'all,

I've recently purchased a PC, OEM.

ASUS A7V8X-X motherboard, and with my O/S as Windows XP Pro, the SoundMAX integrated Digital Audio driver installed is version 5.12.1.3538.

Unfortunately, I have been having problems with my sound, whether hearing choppy sounds, or at times nothing at all...

Does anyone know where I could find the latest driver for SoundMAX applicable for the ASUS A7V8X-X motherboard, and XP Pro?

I hope I made sense there??... sorry...
