Hi Everyone,
I have got fed up with hundreds of music cassettes piling up that never get used. So i have converted them on the computer into MP3 format. If i write them to CD to play on the computer, i can put each cassette in it's own folder, with a picture and title, which then shows on the screen to choose which 'cassette' to play.
Is there any software that will do the same thing for using the CD in the DVD player under the TV. The DVD supports MP3 playback and recognises folders but only comes up with the number of albums. I would like to include something so that i can recognise which album is which.
I have ULead DVD PictureShow which shows little folder icons for each set of pictures on a disc but how can i do this with MP3's.
Thanks in advance

Just curious, how did you get them onto your hard drive and in MP3 format? I've been thinking of doing a project such as this.

I have my Cassette player by the side of me with a lead from the headphone out socket leading to the line in on the soundcard, then through Musicmatch Jukebox i then play the cassette and record to the computer. Musicmatch Jukebox can be set to record in Mp3, WAV or WMA. So it's done in one go.
I also have audio cleaning lab deluxe that i can then run the file through to clean up any hissing, crackling or white noise. I expect i will need this program moreso when i get onto the vinyl collection.
The problem may not be software. It might be the ability of the DVD player to read the tags.
I use iTunes to make mp3 CDs. The iTunes program, besides being a gateway to the iTunes store, is a player for the iTunes downloads and mp3s. It'll also burn CDs.
iTunes does a great job of maintaining the sequence I developed for the mp3 playlist. You can make any kind of sequence. You can choose another type of sequence (album, artist, etc). If you go back to the former sort pattern, it'll remember it.
But when you burn the mp3 CD, it'll put the sequence number as part of the title. It'll hold that sequence. So will other programs.

Thanks RayH for your answer, but i don't think that is what i need. Sorry if i misunderstand.
When i use Ulead DVD Pictureshow to burn my digital images to CD i have a choice of how many folder to display, each one then holds the photo slideshow and displays the first photo on the folder.
So when i put the CD in the DVD player i get say 4 folders showing each with the first picture on that slideshow, with a title underneath. I can then choose which one i want to see.
This is what i would like to see when i put a CD with MP3's into the DVD player, a selection screen with a picture or cassette title, so that i can then choose which one i want to play. At the moment the TV screen just shows that there are 10 albums with 120 tracks which gives me no clue as to what is on the CD and i have to go to each album to see what it is.
This would be alright with just one CD but i can see that i am going to have quite a few, and don't want to sit writing out what is on each CD.
