View Full Version : Norton Firewall ?

I was on the net tonight and all the sudden every page i tried wouldnt load. I turned off norton firewall and the problem was solved. What could be wrong wiht norton

sygate or kerio=install

well, thats my fix for it :D

I'm not sure why that happens or if there is a fix for it. I have no real experience with Norton's Firewall, been using Sygate and Kerio for the past few years without problems. I stopped using the free version of Zone Alarm a few years ago when I had the same problems you're seeing.

I used NIS and my sibscription ran out (THANK GOD)
and I switched to SYGATE PERSONAL FIREWALL

It passed every test Norton did and the time won't run out on you

cool thanks. I have a hardware fire wall so its really not a problem norton jsut kept the spyware down and blocked all the spyware that the hardware firewall cant detect ill try sygate thanks.

black ICE has a good firewall but i dont know about spyware. get ad-aware 6 for that.

yeah that article was written in 2001. old old stuff. newer versions of blackICE are better. and for that leak test, who knows if its real.

Well as for the leaktest program if you use Sygate and get a warning like in the picture I guess it really does work:D
