Well as the error message stated there seems to be a problem with either the cd/dvd media or your cd/dvd-rom. Which version do you have the DVD (2 disks) or cd-rom (6 disks)?

Do you have another cd-rom you could install in your PC? From what I've read around other forums is some cd-roms as well as dvd-roms are having problems reading the disks. Also you might try to copy the disks to your hard drive and run the install from there.

You should ask on the official UT forums, you might get more help there seeing that a lot of people have that problem and are posting there.

There are many work arounds but no offical fixes for this problem. Most I have seen are with the DVD SE edition where you change the transfer mode from DMA to PIO but it doesn't work for all, The other work around seems to be turing off all AV especially nortions but it seems turning off DMA works more than the others. Some are claiming that running the setup in safe mode seems to fix this issue but I dunno bout that one.

Good luck at the UT forums, too many post on this issue and no real fix.
