Questions on NOD32

Hey,

I have a NOD32 Antivirus System purchased and installed onto my computer. It seems to work fine, and is very effective. I'm just wondering, how do you take all the floppy scan things off, from bootup? I am presuming that is why my Desktop (Win98SE) is running progressively slower. I would think it would involve some tweaking of files in the program, which I am unfamiliar to. I rarely use my floppy, since I intend on installing a CD-RW sometime soon.
