On my PC i have AVG Virus Scan and for the past couple of days I get an Alert from Avg resident Sheild

VIRUS
TROJAN HORSE DOWNLOADER. WINSHOW.S
(the file name)
TO REMOVE THIS VIRUS PLEASE RUN AVG. I am running a spyware software too.. when i scan w/ AVG just as i go about and "move to virus vault" my computer frezzes and stops responing.. what could it be and how do i fix it..

it only happens when i click on internet exploer and on startup..

Try scanning in safe mode. Also try housecall

OK, I used PC-cillin (updated), AVG and it found a trojan, i sent it to the "vault" but when ever I go on thge internet and i search I get a "AVG Resident Shield"

what the heck is up??

pardon my stupidness how do i boot into safe mode?

press F8 after post and you will get a option(start holding it during post caus depending on how fast your computer is it might go too fast to push it), if you want to go online you need to chose safe mode with networking.
