Hi Everyone!
I was cleaning some spyware from a friends pc & came across the exe file shown in the subject line. Has anyone seen this & where is it from? I just cleaned his pc out out about a week ago because he turned off his virus program & it had 7 virus's & 497 infected files. He also had 14 files of spyware on there also. I did a search but nothing came up & it has no referencies or dependencies.

Whats it matter what it is as long as your virus scanner found it and got rid of it. :D

That could well be true, except the programs did not find this! I found it & one of the files that was associated with it had a suffix of "dk" on it. Nearly all of the spywares I have come across recently has that same letters in it. It was in the start up box in msconfig & had not been there before.

Well I can't find anything. Since it just appeared there, I guess the question is where have you gone lately (on the internet), what have you installed, and do you have any P2P programs. You prolly installed something from the internet and it is now running when your computer starts up.

Yeah I couldn't find anything on it either. It's not my pc, it's a friends & this only came up after all the other spyware & virus' were removed.
