CPU temp

It's like burning =X
I got around 50+ degree celcius for my CPU and only 30+ degree celcius for the MOBO!
Any problem with that? Or did i install the heatsink improperly?
I've check that the fan is moving :D

well i don't think it should be running that high, i have a p4 3.0ghz C , and it runs at 42 degress.

Try reseating your heat sink and fan.

Are you getting these temps from your Bios? What is the temperature in the room? Do you have any case fans? 50C is not extremely hot.

Where are these temps reading's from? 50c is not hot, but is pretty warm for an intel.

The reading is from BIOS and from AIDA32.
I last used an Intel motherboard on it and it was just 30+ degree celcius. So i am wondering if i did something wrong when i changed it. What should i do now?

nope shouldent be the fan, as long as you didnt touch it. It should be blowing in (twards the hs). Also did you put any paste or anything like that on it?

That is very odd..what bios version do you have? Also is this the P4C800 DLX or the P4C800-E DLX?

Mine is running at 49'C but it's also running at full load.

I try reseating it on the other direction too!
hmm.. not sure what BIOS version. Just know that i just bought it not long ago :D is P4C800 Deluxe only. No E :p

Hmm.. I guess i shall just let it be if there aren't any unstability :)

listen man, when i had my new CPU i was being worried that i might fry it or something. But dont worry :-).
As long as your computer doesnt freeze or you see errors dont worry about it. Delete all the temp monitoring crap and enjoy your PC
