i was just wondering if it's possible to turn on the case without anything installed inside it yet. It came with a 430watt power supply and thats pretty much it. But i want to check if the lights work on it. just wondering if it's possible to turn it on.

im not sure on this, but i think you might need a special tool for that, because the power switch on the case goes through the mobo.

You'd need to jumper a couple of pins, but I don't know which ones. Maybe someone else will post. My search isn't finding the answer.

basically you just short the green wire and any of the black ground wire that are in the motherboard connector... there is no live current going through it... I just use a bent paperclip... They suggest you put some kind of "load" on it first, as well... in-other-words plug in a spare drive and or fans... something to draw some electrical current...
