Linksys make good routers, http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=33-124-001&depa=1
A couple of my friends have the above model and have had no problems with it. When you get your router make sure you go to the manufacturers site and chech for firmware updates.

Isn't that link to a DLS Router??

Or is that the Same as ADSL?

There are two types of DSL, ADSL and something els. The router doesn't have anything to do with the type of internet you have because you use an ethernet cable to plug the modem into it.

Oh right, So I will need to buy a ADSL Modem with ethernet connection to plug into the router?

Just about all modems come with an ethernet connection to make networking easy. You should be able to find out if it has one when you order it from your ISP.

Blue, this guy is in the UK. The ADSL ISP's only provide USB modems over there. You pretty much have to buy a combo device over there to make it cost effective.

Sam, look at this ADSL router:

This is also wireless if you want to add any wireless devices to your network.

Ok, I was thinking about that but wasn't sure if all the companys did that, thats why I told him to ask.
Do you know why they only provide USB modems in the UK?

I have no Idea why they only suply USB Modems. Many of the ISPS dont provide them and a few of them use the excuse that they dont want there service to be provided to more than one computer (So they dont like to sell routers either)

I was looking at these two routers!! Which one do you think is better?

I'll take a D-Link over a Netgear any day, but that's just my opinion.

But isn't Netgear supposed to be way better?
