Looking for a new joystick for Combat Flight.
Needs to have rudder and at least 3 fire buttons, don't really care about force feed back. Any recommendations?
Besides the Microsoft which seem to be not available any more.

I was going to recommend Microsoft because I have a Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback joystick and it is truely the best I have ever seen. I have yet to find another joystick that has the same quality feel and precision. Unfortunatly, as you said, and for some reason I cannot comprehend, they seem to have stopped making them. I'm going to take really good care of the ones I have because as of now, I can't find a decent replacement and I don't know what to recommend.

Considered buying a yoke if you really enjoy flight sims?? A few of my mates use them, and like them

But if you want a joystick, here's a few recommendations from a mate who's into that:
"depends on how serious u are and stuff
if its for a fighter jet sim the saitek X45 is pretty decent for the money
unless you wanna spend hundreds on a thrustmaster cougar"

But this is in Australia, not sure what you have in the US

Does your Saitek feel solid? All the Saiteks I have seen felt like they were about to fal apart in my hand.

if u have a n64 or PS then it might be an idea to get a USB connector for that.. since most pc controllers suck or cost $million.

I got a Logitech Force feedback Wingman, it has rudder and 7 buttons , throttle and 8 position hat switch, twist for rudder,
works good so far. Nice wide heavy base. Overal it is
very solid feeling, not like my old saitek! which worked but didn't have rudder or enough buttons.
