I just noticed that in my process list, there is a process called "RunDLL32". I check it on THIS (http://www.answersthatwork.com/Tasklist_pages/tasklist_r.htm) site and it says I have a virus. I am going to do a virus scan but is this really something to worry about? It is not running on my other comptuer.

however i did find this

I'm sure many viruses are capable of this.definitely need that virus check and here is a link to replace DLL files if needed

I used to have this running on my computer, but I decided that this datalinked list wasn't necessary, so I canned it
Didn't make much difference, to tell the truth

Well I did a virus scan with AVG and it came up clean. I hope there is nothing there.

Many possibilities according to this site. You can disable without a problem.

According to that site "rundll32.exe" is the Gruel virus. Should I try running AVG in safe mode or something? It sayst that if it executes it will make the system inoperable. I am getting worried now. I just noticed that the Gruel virus is not in the AVG encyclopaedia. Does that mean it wouldn't detect it anyway? What should I scan with?
If AVG didn't find any problem in normal mode, it sure won't find anything wrong in safe mode either. Crosscheck with an online scan such as Housecall.
