MusicMatch software

I just downloaded MusicMatch Jukebox, and there's an option to purchase tracks for 99 cents each. Does anyone know what format these files are after you download them? Are they mp3s or something else?

most likely mp3, i wouldnt see the point in another music format, unless they dont want you to burn the tracks or anything.
