Drumming websites?

Hey all,
I'm thinking of taking up the drums, but am a little lost as to where to start. Can anybody please recommend websites that deal with reviews for drum sets or just drumming in general?

You might want to go to your local magazine shop and buy their magazine, too. I've found it to be quite a good one.

Google some products like Ayotte Custom Drums, Pearl, Gretsch Drums, Sabian and Zildjian; and look for artists like Dave Weckl and Carmine Appice for instructional books and videos.

I don't know if your neighborhood has a local "music shop" type place that's a family run type of thing (not a chain essentially). You could always go in there and talk to an instructor or something, they could probably tell you a lot. At least the ones at my local store could haha.
