Can you be a bit more detailed on the security stuff? What exactly do you mean?
Also, before we go any further, is this on your home computer or a computer at work?

Hi Floppyman, I like your title, thats cool.
Sorry about the lack of info.
I have WinXP Pro, and it always goes to the log on window, such as Administrator. Then after clicking on it I go to the desktop. What I wish to do is go directly to the desktop and eliminate that first step,
thanks again, I hope I explained it enough. :-)

If you do not feel like downloading anything, you could try this (although I have not done it myself).
1. Go to Control panel
2. Click administrative tools
3. Local Security Settings
4. Click Minimum password length
5. Reduce it to 0, No password required
6. Go to user account in control panel click your account and remove
password.

Hmm, maybe I'm too simple. I just remove all the users but one and that one has no password. Goes straight to the desktop. Only time it doesn't, is when it's awakened from Standby. Then it reverts to user logon. That's fixable too, I just haven't bothered yet.
