View Full Version : Explorer and Outlook 6 Error

My new neighbor is unable to browse with exploer 6 or get mail with Outlook 6 on Win XP home ed. This is a recent problem. Both Explorer and Outlook give a message that they have encountered an error and must close down... I tried to repain (update installation) of XP but no difference. Any ideas?

What error ?
Is there anything in Event Viewer ?
If the problem is with the internet setup then the repair wouldn't have fixed it.
If it's a newly installed program, or malware, the repair wouldn't help with that either.
First check Event Viewer and then find out what your neighbor was doing when the trouble started.
Viruses are probable if your neighbor doesn't have updated AV.
