I have a rather nice pc desk with a cabinet for the case to keep it nicely tucked away. I have noticed how big of a temp increase I have when the case is kept in this cabinet. No doubt it is because the case fan and psu exhaust fans are blowing hot air right back into the cabinet and it is recirculating back into the case.
One way I have thought of to overcome this while still keeping the case in the cabinet is by cutting holes in back of my cabinet and routing the exhaust out these holes using ventilation hoses. Also, the front cabinet door should remain open to allow fresh air in.
Anyone else here keep their cases in a cabinet and have thought of other solutions to keep the case in the cabinet well ventilated?
