Help me choose a case

My current case is ok, but it weighs in around 15 kg, not to mention the hd drives are too tight, I end up damaging the hd whenever I try to take them out/plaec them in. So what case should I get?

1. screwless, outside & inside
2. Side window with fan that blows directly on the graphic card. This case, the fan blows directly in the middle of nowhere, more like directly on the jumbled wires
3. Adjustable trays-motherboard, optical drives, hd. Easier to install.
4. Max I think 5 HD I will use.
5. Lights optional, but if there is light, there should be a switch to control the lighting- When I sleep, the case glows. I need total darkness, total silent when sleeping.
6. Front mount USB, firewire(optional), audio(optional). I like it at the back.
7. Ease of cleaning. This casing is ok, but ever month I have to vacum it. the side fan gets dust easily, & insects(mosquitoes) are dead on the base of the case . Why anyone don't make a filter for the fans.

Why do thermaltake, wavemaster case cost alot?

I need to change the PSU anyway. It came with 3 molex, I've branched out to a total 5. I tried adding more, the pc restarts. Suggestions? Same case & PSU manufacturer is ok with me.

thermaltake lanfire is a good case, it is screwless, very light and includes 4x fans w/ fan controller, perhaps that why it costs alot not to mention it looks the piece as well.

Antec, AOpen, Inwin, Chenbro, Enlight and Lite-On all make good cases and come with good power supplies.

I like this casing, but the maintainace is tedious.
Any specific case?

All the brands I mentioned make good quality cases. As to which one you should get, I really can't tell you since my taste in cases is probably different from yours. Go to each makers web site and check out the cases there. One will eventually catch your eye.

Basically, don't get a generic case with a generic power supply...spend the money on a good name brand and you won't regret it.

I'm not sure why Thermaltake cases cost so much but the CoolerMaster Wavemaster case is expensive because it is made of high grade, thick aluminum. THIS (http://www.newegg.com/app/viewproductdesc.asp?description=11-170-013&DEPA=1) Kingwin case fits all of your requirements except the side fan which I really don't think is necassary. However, if you really wanted one you could add one yourself.

There is also this case the Aspire X - Superalien, comes with either a 500 watt or 420 watt powersupply.

you'd have to ditch the powersupply anyway. Unless you like the smell of barbequed PC components, you don't want an Aspire PSU in your case.

The Kingwin recommended above looks good to me.

If you want a single case that has all your features, it would be the Antec P160, but it is in the $100 range if that matters to you. With both Antec and Termaltake you get good PSUs along with most of the time.

I've seen the new Thermaltake case copying wavemaster case.
Then a lot of people are hype about the Preatorean case, no window. I know the silver is cool, but I want to see the insides of my pc. Something like the Preatorean but with the window.

I really must get the PSU first. No point getting a cool case if I have not enough power. & after changing the DVD with a HD, My pc restarts, I need more power.

What happens if I loose the keys to open the casing? If it only based on keys. Not only the side window, the front panel also could not be opend? Anyone have any experience with this type of case?

I never use the locks on my case - so you don't have to lock them to close. Mine came with 2 keys, so you can put one away just in case.

Check out the Antec P160 case (available with a window) and the Antec Super LAN Boy cases. Noting that you are not in the States but review the links to these cases.

that aria case looks so much similiar to mine, front panels, are blue, instead of white. I'm seeing new cases, where the hd bays are directed outwads(90 degrees from the optical bays), can I turn the drive bay, or is this a new design? I like it, cause its easy to fix in a hd that way.

This is sort of off topic. I like most of the Thermaltake's cases but why do they insist on putting the USB/Firewire porst on top? I would hate that. Also, I hate doors. Anyway, back to your question. Some new cases have the drive bays like that. I don't think you can turn them but I don't see a reason to. It is much easier to access.

I just noticed that. i don't like ports on top of the pc, they should be infront & down at the bottom.
