Following from the title of this post. Can someone tell me how to do this?

Ok, nope. Correction. How do I get rid of a Microsoft Networking password request dialog box on start up?

What I use is TweakUI it was originally developed by Microsoft for use with 98 and I am now using the 2k version.

It will allow you to bounce right past that login. It also has a few other toys that are very handy

just download it and run it then look for the new icon in your control panel.

The following link will solve this, although fudtone probably correct in saying to use TweakUI, very handy

Control Panel, Network, select Microsoft Family Logon (have disk, etc. ready if needed) as Primary Network Logon.

Yep, did that SARGE, but when I go to Network in the Control Panel it doesn't have Microsoft Family Logon as any option or tab.

Click the little black arrow. I'm assuming ME has this.

Microsoft Family Logon would have to be added if it's not there. You need the network logon if you are trying to do file and printer sharing, otherwise you can just set the primary to Windows Logon.

Thanks guys! Yep that worked, just set it from the client to Windows Logon. Pesky Network password request box doesn't come up anymore.
