if you guys think the SLK series heatsinks are huge, boy are you in for it now. check out the new prescott cooler. the crazy thing is, its a passive cooler. i think it must be meant to coexist with the new BTX formfactor which implements passive cooling for the CPU as well.

You have got to be kidding. Some thing like that would make moving any drives in the lower half of the case a royal pain... The case will either have to do without those 2 extra HD bays so many people use, or do some real redesign. We can forget about useing the front intake to blow over the hard drives at any rate.

no volt mods.....yet, just the L12 mod ;). i went out to best buy and spent $89 on a dual channel kingston value ram lol. its PC3200 with the hynix BT-D43 memory chips. theyre 4.3ns memory chips, PC3700 standard. great deal on the memory :D

yep, its hynix BT-D43, 4.3ns chips. take a look at the memory chips here (http://www.8080.net/pics/8251139592.jpg). those are the exact same chips i have. note in the serial number string, it ends in BT-D43, thats what you want to look for.

hmmm, that link says that thermalright uses a 120mm fan, not passive, might have to look into that! My poor little presshot is about to burn up with this summer heat ;) ok not really but maybe it'd take it further...

i can believe how big that thing is....i know i couldnt fit it in my case. youd need something very roomy for that.

Uses the stock p4 bracket from what I read too, although that means I'll have to dig mine out and reattach it to the board! LMAO, thanx for the link tin!
