Question Need a laptop reccomendation, something compact...

I need to buy a laptop that is fairly small. I'm talking something with a screen size of 14" and a small chasis. It's need to have Win XP PRO, and be capable of running Office XP. This would be used for just word processing, no gaming or DVDs. I want to spend under $800.00. Here is a link to one that is about what I'm looking for but I don't really like Compaq all that much. Someone please provide a link to something comparable. Remember, doesn't have to be all that fast and doesn't need to be all that new, just as compact as possible.

Thanks for the reccomendations!

I'm going to point you to the same place I tell everyone to go asking about laptops:

www.notebookforums.com

That group has a lot better handle on the current situation of protables, and can narrow down a few good choices for you. Most everyone here has their desktops down, but notebooks are pretty much a world of their own.

I'd rather see you get a Dell Inspiron 2200. The Presario laptops are very cheaply made and aren't all that reliable.
