Socket A Fan recomnendation - Barton 3200

I am after a cpu fan for my new AMD 3200 Barton. I need a really good quite fan that cools the CPU well. Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

ugg....

Newegg is currently down, so I don't know the Newegg price, but the Zalman CPNS 7000B CU would be my choice. It costs $34.95 at Quietpc.com
which is cheaper than ZipZoomfly.

Don't know if people here are still using them, but I really liked the Speeze falconRock for any Socket A proc. They have huge fans so they spin slower but still move some air which in turns keep the noise level down. Newegg used to carry them, but not sure if they still do.

Looks like they are now called MASSCOOL instead of Speeze. HTH

Yes, people are still using the FalconRock and WhisperRock...good affordable heatsinks that work well.

I like your new avatar edrod13...had that picture as a wallpaper at work a few years ago, the one with the red tinted tongue.

Thanks Cricket. He has always intrigued me and more now that I have two semester left to finish my B.S in Mathematics at CSUF. As I struggle through advanced calculus I always think about that quote and it makes me feel better for some weird reason. Weird!
