Flight sim computer parts list?
I am looking to build a computer for everyday use plus to run Flight Simulator on. I really don't if it needs to be any more or can be less of a build than the gaming systems that are described on here. I am looking at a 1200 +/- budget. I know you fellas can point me in the right direction.

Flight Simulator doesn't really need a powerhouse - a general use build with a midrange video card will be fine.

Ok, standard questions:
Any other uses that tax a machine? Flightsim isn't too much of a resource hog - I built a computer for our former Editor in Chief that had Extreme Graphics 2 (onboard video) and would run Flightsim at around 20 fps on high settings - when we fly online, though, the FPS drops 4-6 FPS. Do you want a keyboard, monitor(s), etc? $1200 is overkill for a FlightSim computer unless you want more than 1 monitor. Post back and we'll work something out for you!
