help wiring the mobo

This is my first build and there are some wires that I'm confused about. Rather than describe them, I took some pictures.

These are the wires - http://img222.imageshack.us/img222/4278/plugs3pn.jpg
and the mobo - http://img222.imageshack.us/img222/2991/mobo3xj.jpg
(they're kinda big)

The biggest issues are positive to negative, what I can ignore and such.

A looks like a floppy power connector...and B looks like the old AT Aux power connectors.

D and F are your fans...those go to the power supply.

L and M look like your USB ports (5 & 6).

E I think is firewire

K is the case speaker

Looks like you got the others right

C = 8
G = 12
J = 9
H+I = 11
K = 13

I think that's all right

Okay, I've hooked up everything except 'D' and 'E'. I don't have any more PSU connectors that can fit 'D' and I don't think 'E' is firewire because it came from the floppy drive, it's a 7in1 combo media drive and there's no place on the mobo for it.

And on the motherboard, I have nothing to go to 'PWR LED' (7) or 'SYS FAN' (14) is that bad?

E is USB: goes in this order "RED, white, green, black" black towards the missing pin.

also usualy the "power led" is above HDD led, but in this case its on the side

So that means I have 3 USB cords (E,L,M) but only 2 places for them (5 & 6).

Incidentally, 'L' goes
black white red ---- orange
----- ----- green black blue

What? I thought "D" was coming from the power supply? Those are for 4 pin case fans to connect to.

If it's a 7-in-1 media card reader then "E" plugs onto one of the USB headers. You gotta choose if you want front USB ports or the 7-in-1 media card reader.

The "H" and "I" connectors go to the PWR LED header on the motherboard. Since "7" has three pins, "H" and "I" go on the end pins, don't use the middle pin. Try them one way and if the LED doesn't light up, try them the other way.

Everything from the PSU is blue, the two white 4-pins came from the front of the case... but there aren't any built in fans.
What about the 'SYS FAN' socket on the mobo (top right), should I ignore it?

Oh...does your case have a built in fan controller?

Yeah, don't worry about that one. That's to connect a 3 pin case fan to but you don't have to have anything connected to it. It's better to connect case fans directly to the power supply.

Yeah, it does have a fan controller. It's an X-Plorer case so it's got 2 front USB, and a firewire port, temp. readout and the fan controls. So if one of the two USB-like cords is just firewire I can ignore that.

And at this point, the harddrive and memory are still in transit (backordered) so I don't want to turn it on without them in.

Okay...you can control the fan speed for one of your case fans if you want to. 1 4 pin power connector from the power supply goes to female plug from the controller and the 4 pin power connector from one of your case fans goes to the male 4 pin power connector from the fan controller. Or you could just ignore the controller completely.
