Not really any special way to put it in...cept the way it goes (not sideways, upside-down duhh). Some may argue to wear anti-static wristband, some don't. I wore mine when building, but I go into my PC all the time and mess with things and don't wear one. But when building you should wear one.

Um...Read your instructions! Download the How to Build a PC or whatever program it is off this site, I did on my first build. Helped a ton!

read this.

1) ALWAYS make sure you are grounded. at all times, have some part of your body (such as hand, finger, arm) touching the case, and avoid working on a carpet if possible.

2) Count the number of holes in your motherboard for screws, then line them up with the holes in your case (but first, you need to place some mounting screws (i think thats what they are called) in your cases holes) then mount the motherboard on the mounting screws, then screw the MB in using screws that came with your case. (consfused yet?)

Make sure no mounting screws are misplaced. Make sure they all line up. If any mounting screws touch the motherboard that arent suppost to be there, it could damage the board.

Hope this helps

Depends on the mobo type and the case you plan on putting the mobo in. Most mobo's are either ATX or micro-ATX. Unless you are planning to use a micro-ATX case, either type of mobo will fit just fine. Micro-ATX cases usually only fit micro-ATX mobo's. Most cases come pre-drilled with mulitple holes that will fit different brands of mobo's. Just make sure to use the I/O plate that comes with the mobo and watch out for the edges as they are sharp. Also make sure you use the stand-off screws to keep the mobo off the case. Otherwise your board will short out.

you will notice that the mounting holes on the mobo have a metal edge around them. Once you set the mobo on the stand-off screws and secure them using the screws either the case or mobo come with it grounds the entire unit. Don't worry, unless you use oversized screws you can't go wrong. I have only seen plastic stand-off posts in OEM (Dell, HP, etc) computers.
