My first build, looking for component advice

I'm about ready to do my first build. I'm not a gamer, but plan to use it as a music server and for general office work, etc. I'm thinking the dual-core because I have approx. 1000 CDs that I want to rip using iTunes, and want to be able to do other things while I'm ripping (including watch TV, hence the ATI AIW). I'll probably set it up to dual-boot w/Linux also.
The Raptor will be for OS and apps. Does anyone see any compatibility issues with the following:

A couple other questions:
Do I need XP Pro to support the AMD x2, or will XP Home work?
I've heard some people had problems setting up the A8N-E (with SATA drives ?). Is this an easy board to work with?
Is the Raptor worth the extra $$?

Any comments / suggestions Would be appreciated. Thanks!

You need a 2.0 ATX power supply with a 24-pin connector whenever you have PCI-E. That Thermaltake may have a 24-pin plug or adapter, but I would not use it for a PCI-E motherboard. Here is a good quality 2.0 ATX PSU

Besides that looks pretty good for your needs.

XClio is made by Channel Well Technology, who makes Antec and Enermax I believe. This is a top notch power supply. Highly recommended in this forum.

You are likelyto need a floppy drive to install drivers, sata controller. bios updates etc..
I think XP home supports dual core processors. Get the OEM version of whichever you pick, it will be about 100 bucks less than the retail one.
An Antec would be better than the thermaltake PSU, and the one on your list is ATX, not ATX 2.0
There are some nice 7200 rpm harddrives with 16 Mb caches that will perform about as well as the raptor and are a lot larger for a comparable cost. Seagate or Western Digital would be my reccommendation. Also a lot of people find the Raptor is rather noisy.
Agree that Xclio is good too.

Thanks!

Thanks for the advice everyone. I'll look into the PSU and other HDD options.

I've found the ASUS A8N-E board to be EXTREMELY easy to work with, as my sig rig was my first build. Absolutely no problems whatsover, including setting up SATA drives. I think you'll be happy with it. If you're not gaming or don't want the absolute top performance, I wouldn't bother with the Raptor. Any good 8-16 MB cache HDD will serve you as well. However, for my OS and programs I put them on a Raptor and couldn't be happier.
