just a green light on the motherboard
hello, i have just built my first pc using an asus a8n sli premium mb with amd 4000+,put it all together turned on power and just the green status light on the motherboard? any ideas,i have tried the power led connections several times,any thoughts ?

do yuo hear any sound?? like the fans spinning, the green light shows that the powersupply is connected to the mobo.

Funster;
I just built a new Computer using an A8N-SLI Board and I had a similiar problem. Besides the green light that went on, the fans were also activated. What I did wrong was not plugging the PowerSupply into the 4 pin plug on the MOBO. This 4 pin plug is located above and to the left of the CPU. The other thing to check is that you are using the 24 Pin Power Plug into the Mobo. So make sure that both plugs are attached to your PowerSupply. Good luck!
