Questions on picking a brand of mobo and vga
I was at CompUSA today and I seen this video card, which they wanted $400 for in the store but on newegg it is $350.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814143042 He was trying to say that eVGA is a "off brand." Reason, is because I told him I was looking at the eVGA 7800GT. Which they don't have... This is what I was planning on getting.http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130256 Between those two who is the better brand? Also at CompUSA they have the Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe Mobo which I was planning on getting, but was way over priced, and he tried talking me into getting this mobo. http://www.compusa.com/products/prod...916&pfp=BROWSE Should I just go with my orginal setup (ASUS Mobo (from the Egg), and the eVGA (from the Egg). Or should I go with the DFI Mobo (from the egg), and the BFG (from newegg). Thanks. P.S. Im currently running MSI Mobo and MSI VGA in my Computer. But time to upgrade to PCI-E, and SLI Sooner or Later....

I'd get the eVGA. eVGA is one of the best brands out there.
Personally, I'd go with the ASUS, since DFI's can be tricky to work with.

See I knew eVGA was not a off brand...I think hes just doing his job...I personally would't buy from there anyway. I only buy cables, lights, fans, etc..anything small from there. There about 40-50 more than the internet.

From what I understand, eVGA is actually nVidia's "in-house" video cards.
