To build a modern up to date computer you won't be able to use the power supplies or RAM out of those computers. You might be able to use the hard drives, floppy drives and optical drives. Not sure about the cases though...do you have a digital camera? If you do, take pictures of the computer (inside and out) and we'll see if anything else can be salvaged for your new build...I want to see if your existing computer cases are ATX, micro-ATX or AT.

First thing to do is reduce the photo file size to 100kb. If you don't have a photo editor get IrfanView and use it to reduce the image file size.

Then put the files into a easy to find directory or folder.

Now click on the Post Reply button and then look for the Additional Options box below the Reply to Thread box. Click on the Manage Attachments button. A box will appear where you can then upload the image file from your computer to the PC Mech servers.

The pictures will appears as attachments in your post.

Those pictures are too small...can't you provide larger images.

And this isn't instant messaging so can you please type out your messages fully. Thanks.

Lets start over...what exactly do you want to do? Do you want to build a whole new computer from the ground up or do you want to upgrade those existing computers?

Do you know the specs of those computers? Like the make and model and speed of the processors? The type of RAM they're using now?

Sorry, but I'm not sure what you want to do.

Okay...if you plan to upgrade, exactly what do you want to upgrade? And what's your budget?

If you plan to build from scratch, what's your budget?

AMD or Intel?

For Intel processors look at an intel motherboard or an ASUS with an Intel chipset. An LGA 775 board will be more futureproof than a 478 pin board, which are on the way out.
You can reuse your hard drives and cd/dvd drives untill you can upgrade them.
That foxconn motherboard is a microatx, which might mean that your old cases won't work with a full sized atx motherboard. Power supplies likely aren't aren't good enough for a new build either.
Foxconn memory: Single channel, unbuffered, 2.5V DDR200/266/333, (2) 184-pin DIMM sockets, max 2GB. You will want to replace that too.

Depending on your budget, I'd look at the 6xx series. Or a Celeron D if the budget is tight.

If you do a lot of multitasking, a dual core processor might be appropriate.
