Why are you starting another thread for your new build?

Well, theres alot you need to chose here: you can check out newegg.com for items

1) Case: matter of preferences, Antec cases are really good
2) MOBO: depends here if you want Intel or AMD
3)CPU: 4.0GHz is really powerfull (depends if you want dual core)
4)Ram: you wont need more then 2GB, kingston and crosair makes good ram
5)HD: either SATA or IDE, SATA makes it faster, i never had any problems with maxtor
6)Video card: IF you have PCI-E i recommend the 7800GTX
7) Opticals: i suppose you want a DVD burner, a floppy and extra DVD-rom
8)sound card and ethernet card if needed
9) WIndows XP

you can get a insane PC for 2000$ USA

Dark... what are you talking about?? the fastest AMD CPUs are at 2.8GHz, the fastest Intels aren't at 4Ghz either. RAM doesn't get up to 2GHz speeds... perhaps you mean two GB...

ok i had a long day work,
For the Ram: i meant 2GB not Ghz my bad
And for the CPU, i was talking in general. if you want a fast CPU 4.0Ghz is quick and since AMD 4000+ for AMD equals 4Ghz in Intel, so they both apply as 4.0Ghz each. i sold today a AMD 4.4Ghz Dual core (witch is 4400+ i dont actually know the precise amount of ghz in AMD but its easyer to compare it with Intel).

ANyway if your going to go Dual Core, well all i can say, is that i sold more Dual cores in AMD then Intel

Daneth, these build exercises of yours are becoming a waste of bandwidth. Are you really planning a build or just creating threads for something to talk about? We banned some guys for this same activity a couple weeks ago and you're appearing BIG under the magnifying glass. I think you need to find a new playground or get serious on this one.

Not sure if that makes him a troll...maybe he's just bored.

A troll is someone who is looking to start flame wars by posting things he knows will get people all worked up or by baiting another forum member into an argument.

Shucks! And here I thought a troll was anyone from the Lower Penninsula of Michigan. Troll is what the folks in the Upper Penninsula call us because we live "under" the Mackinac Bridge.

Actually, I thought a troll was Jag's avatar! hehehe
