fqpissed please help. windows doesn't boot

motherboard: asus A7N8X-VM with nvidia 2 chip
processor: 1.83 AMD
video: VGA (doom 3 logo) whatever that is
linksys wireless, 350w antec power supply, WD 120gig harddrive, dvdrw, dvd drive. 1.5 gigs ram.

recently after switching out harddrives my comp decided not to show any video. i've unplugged everything and removed the mo.bo. from the case. it seems that the only way i can get video is if all usb connections are taken out.

however, now that i have video again windows doesn't boot. it will hang at the mo.bo. screen, or at the boot up screen if i press del on the keyboard soon enough.

i am currently running video to a highdef tv screen via an hdmi cable.

any suggestions???
please help! thanks so very much!

Did you reinstall the motherboard chipset drivers onto the new harddrive?
