Looks good, just be sure to check the list at ASUS or use the Corsair configurator to be sure the RAM you order is a compatible part number.

Nice list, that is going to be one smoking build!

The only thing I would say is that if you plan on doing some serious overclocking, you may want to go with memory of a bit higher quality than the Value Select. If not, though, then that memory is just fine as long as it is compatible with your motherboard.

Some Good News

Well i have started ordered some parts for my PC

1st order was case and optic drive
2nd order is HS&F, XP Pro, artic silver 5, and FDD
3rd oder i am getting in is my 250GB wd HD my Enermax wisper 2 PSU and my dual 512MB of ram

I have several question regarding a good CPU i was thinking of getting the FX55 but then i thought to my self i can save some $$$ and get the AMD Athalon 64 3700 but then agian the X2 are new and soon the game will be on the X2 in near future. I could get the a8n32 sli deluxe and when the X2 get ready for games all i have to do is switch out the CPU. Any advice on this matter would me help a lot. Thanks for your time

Get whatever CPU you want now...it wouldn't be feasible to get one CPU now and then get another one later on. The FX55 seems a little out of balance with the rest of the system, so I'd say the 3700+ or an X2 would be plenty powerful enough.

How will they be "outdated"? Games are already starting to come with optmizations for dual core systems. If you always wait for the newest technologies, you'll never buy anything.

I think a 3700+ will be fine.

but for the near future he'll be better off for gaming with a single-core rather than a dual-core. Althrough dual-core is definitely is here to stay.

I think i agree with Blue on this i read in a PC mag that game devlopers are getting ready to make games for dual core cpu's but that is latter down the road. So the 3700 would be a good fit for the rig i am building and should i stick with the mobo i have already ,or get one that supports X2 ready; for when the devlopers start brenging games out that requiers the dual core cpu and all i have to do is buy X2

It's a good board too, the question is whether you want to pay the extra money for it.

If you can afford it, get the 4400+ X2, I believe it's the same as the 3700+ (two of them of course).

Go for the dual core 4400+ if you have the $, else, the 3700+ will suffice. You made a good choice with the 32SLI board - though the A8N SLI would have been enough, the 32 version boasts upwards of 10% increases in performance... I don't know if it is even noticible yet, but I am sure it might be in the future.

You have already made an error just buy ordering parts before you have decided on what your final pc hardware will be. You have limited yourself to what you can change. Make sure everything will fit into your case. Your going to have a bottleneck for sure with x2 and those video cards for sure. especially with only 1 gig of ram. Don't take poeples word for it on here you need to do your own research and make sure everything will work. You made the first mistake everyone makes. You wanted to just jump into buying parts and u don't have a clue as to what you really want. You need to do research and decide what your going for. Gaming ok then the three parts you need to focus on are your mobo if you want sli or whatever then videocard then a cpu with your ram following. not ur case. who wants to build a computer around a case! Hope it works out but do ur homework next time! Buy your parts all at once to save on shipping. Also to save on headache after you switch the parts around so they aren't compatible

If you're after further opinions on Nero 7, there's a review of the well featured Premium version (it has tons of extras) here:

Good luck with the new machine, hope it all goes smoothly for you...
