I don't trust that power supply: the picture seems to say that the manufacturer is Azza, and I've never heard of it.
Also, ASRock is not the first name I would think of for a motherboard. I am also pretty unfamiliar with ULi chipsets. If you aren't going to be doing a lot of heavy work, I would downgrade the processor to a 3200+ or 3000+ and use that money on a better motherboard. |

i was unsure about the psu also.
i know the mobo is a asus subsidary so i figured it was good, also has both agp 8x and pci ex x16 (i thought that was okay) i dont replace my stuff for at least 5 or so years so i want this to last awhile that is why i went with the 3500. i will keep looking at some other boards/cpu combos.. |

I really don't see a need for both AGP and PCI-E at this stage of the game. AGP is dying, PCI-E is the new technology, and there are now tons of PCI-E graphics cards out there, so the dual-use aspect really isn't that important anymore.

the reason for the dual config with agp/pci-e.. is the video card i want to have vivo/tv tuner with a decent price. the one decent one i found is agp. but i want to be able to upgrade in the future.
as far as everything else. does it look good.... |

The hard drive, RAM, and DVD burner look fine. I like Seagate drives because of their 5-year warranty.
