Hello again every one, I have finaly put together my computer, but now I am facing some problims.

My mouse does not work and a couple devices don't work as well, here is a list of the devices that show there is a problim with them when I go to Device Manager on windows XP Pro. SP2:

-Mice and other pointing devices:
(all have " ! " and say Unkown Device)

-Other Devices:
Multimedia Audio Controler (has a " ? " with a " ! " )
Other PCI Bridge Device (same as above)
PCI Memory Controller (the same..!)
SM Bus Controler (Same!)
Video Controler - VGA Compatible (same as above)

-Sound, Video and game controllers:
Audio Codecs (ok)
Legacy Audio Drivers (ok)
Legacy Video Capture (ok)
Media Control Devices (ok)
Standard Game Port (ok)
Unknown Device ( has a " ! " on it)
Video Codecs (ok)

I am not sure what is happening here, but I tried to uninstall the mouse device and reditect it again, the computer detects it and tries to install it but then I get an error saying that it could not install the device

please tell me if you need any other info and I am very greatful to all the help in everyone can offer

What kind of mouse? Is it USB or PS/2? Do you have an old mouse you could use for the time being? You need to get the chipset, sound, and video drivers installed.

I tried 2 different mice, one is Logitech cordless and the other is a generic mouse that isn't cordless, both of them are USB though. The computer ditects them but give me an error that it could not install them. I tried them on another computer they worked fine. I had a windows XP home on this PC before I Installed the windows XP Pro, and with the Home Edition the mice and all the devices worked fine...
