Building my computer today and could use some help along the way = )

Hello, just registered a few mins ago, since im a bit stumped here hehe.

Well, this is my first build and i just finished inserting the cpu in and now im on getting the fan and heatsink in. Im using an atholon amd 64 fx 939 socket 3500 and an A8N SLI Premium motherboard which are compatible. But im having ALOT of trouble getting this fan and heatsink in. I could use any advice or help because its been 2 hours and ive gotten nowhere :P.

Edit:Well i think i know how i'm supposed to apply the heatsink/fan into the retention clips its just these things retention brackets do NOT want to go over the retention locks. I'm not sure if i have the fan/heatsink applied backwards or what, hopefully ill figure this out soon. I dont think theres even enought length of the pipe(i think thats what it is) that holds the retenion brackets to get them both into place. I dont know what to do :'(.

Here is a link to AMD's site that shows how to install the heat sink on a 939 socket motherboard http://www.amd.com/us-en/Processors/...5E6678,00.html

Click on the video link you wish to watch.

make this:
check that the procesor is firmly on the socket and then figure out whats the correclt way to put the heatsink make sure u put it the correct way not backword then put the clip and press till u hear a clip that means its locked down and finnaly bolt on your fan and thats it.
