Wiring problem?
Ok guys ive been working all day on this and im a newbie. Now i got everything installed and connected it up and pressed the power button. Now this is what happens:
PWR LED on the powerswitch turns on Nothing else seems to be working exept for the motherboard as i could see the ON light on it. No Fans come on And everything goes off after bout 10 seconds. Im pretty sure its a wiring problem becuz im only 15 and was rrreeeeeeealy confused while doing the wiring. Now my big question is about the fan wiring. I just dont understand. |

Ok i just fully checked it. See when i start up the power supply i can see the motherboard light come on. But when i press the power switch i get NO response whats so ever. Like no lights come on. Or anything. The power switch light doesnt even come on. It just sits there the same way as it was b4 i turned on the power switch.

This is a wiring problem indeed, is the front connected to the mobo?
hint: for the front cabbles, the Colour is always on the left |

did you check if the color of the pins (when they're attach to mobo) are on the left?
ok Take a pen with metal and touch both powerpins at the same time |

what i meant is: with a pen or a screwdriver (with metal at the end) touch the 2pins on the mobo where is says power Led (same place where you connect your front pannel to the power) touch them both at the same time
also for the colors, yes without the ground witch is black and white other colors then white and black are always on the left before the white or black thatfollows it |

Touching those pins will turn on the pc, so its the same as if you touch the power button in the front. so yes the Powersupply needs to be on.
if it turns on, then its your front cabbles that arnt well connected. if not then its something else |

OK
1)remove the power led that you connected from the front of the case to the mobo 2) touch the 2pins of the power (where you connected the front) on the mobo using a screwdriver, that will simulate the exact same thing as if you where pushing the power button, so you dont need to touch the power button |

TY So much dark, youve helped me all throughout the night. Much appreciated, this was my first build and i was kinda nervous. Well i got it to work. My panel was all right. But what i did was dissconnect all the fans to the powersupply all my drives etc.... And the only thing that was connected up was my motherboard and my powersupply. And i pushed the button and yeap it started im sooo happy.
