I was just wondering if there is anyway i could figure out if the video card if just bad and i need a replacement or if i have done something wrong. If it helps here are my system specs.

You need a power supply with more power output. 380 watts isn't going to cut it with a 7800GTX. And if you're running two 7800GTXs in SLI you really need a lot more juice from a SLI certified power supply. Here's a list.

Yes though not the powmax, choose a good one from this list. Personally id recommend Enermax, very good quality psu's.

Ugh, don't get a PowMax...that's one of the worst power supply brands out there. Get one off the list I provided. I think the most affordable SLI certified power supply is the Antec TPII-550. I'd get a Fortron Source or Sparkle Power PSU if it was my computer.

ok so i picked up a 550w power supply and set it up this morning. Only to arrive at the same problem i had yesterday with 1 long beep and 2 short ones. Is there anyway i can test the video card without having to take it into my local pc club?

What brand video card are you using?

Know anyone with a computer that is similiar to yours and uses a PCI-Express 16X video card?

Are you plugging in power to the video card?
