Question monitor in power save mode

monitor in power save mode activate using pc
I just replaced the Motherboard intel D, cpu ,power supply,512 memory
how do i activate from pc when all i get is a blue screen and message on the monitor?
intel celeron D340 2.93Ghz256cache,533sb(socket478) Dual channel DDr400 Ultra memory 512 power suppy ultra 350 watt this is an older dell computer that was pentium 3 xps model about 5 years old

Post complete specs of you system to help us out a bit more.

So, let me get this straight, you replaced a good portion of the system and are using the same hard drive that had an OS on it before? Which OS?

If XP, you are going to have to a repair install; there is a hardware conflict with the new parts.
