You'll need any MircoATX motherboard (full ATX won't fit).

What kind of budget? AMD or Intel? What are you going to do with this computer?

Well cheap but 512 memory is needed at least. I'm going to use it for studio recording. So please help me choice a motherboard and processor.

How cheap is cheap? Your cheap is probably different than my cheap. We need an exact dollar amount.

I'm going to recommend Intel.

I don't know because I've never really done this before but I would say no more than $400 if that is a reasonable ammount.

Oops, I should have asked this before: is this budget for the whole computer or just the motherboard/CPU?

What about gaming? Need those capabilities? If not, a basic video card will do.

Actually, I'm going to suggest you get a full ATX case. Those micro ATX cases are going to limit your optical and hard drive possibilities.

Something like this:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131542
(needs a full ATX case)

and an Intel 650, along with a gig of Corsair Value Select DDR2 533. Plus a basic PCI-E video card (say, an X550).

Keep in mind you can only have one optical drive in that case. And it's going to run hot (especially with an Intel).

I can't help ya with CPU or MOBO suggestions, but SONY DL DVD drives are a tad bit shorter than other DVD drives; something worth considering. There may be other drives that are similarly short.

An alternative to the Aria and a separately chosen CPU & Mobo is a barebones Shuttle. I assume that the available combinations are thoroughly tested for compatibility and optimal efficiency, so you wouldn't have to worry about whether or not your system is too hot or too cramped, etc.

Hold it, dunno why I didn't think of this before. That case just isn't going to work, it most likely needs a mATX power supply, and I doubt there are any powerful enough for your needs. Besides, it's going to be cramped, run hot, and be very limiting in the number of drives you can have.

Now, since you live in the UK, is that budget you gave us USD or GBD?

EDIT: Yes, that's a mATX power supply - that just is not going to cut it. You need to get a full ATX case and ATX power supply (probably 450W range).
