new build

just want to know if anybody see any problems or has any suggestions for me,i will be using dvd drives and floopy out of my exsisting comp, not worried about the monitor and other stuff right now heres my list so far.

What's going on at your place that you need XP pro?

any suggestions on vidio cards, I dont do a hole lot of gaming but i would like to be able to play any game i want, I also think this mobo will support 2 vid cards, is that somthing i should consider? also about the xp pro i just heard thats the way to go.

If you don't plan to do any heavy video/graphics editing or gaming, there's no point in running SLI (two video cards). You were probably told to use XP Pro as opposed to Home because XP Pro has more advanced networking and file sharing capabilities. If this computer is just going to be for general use with only light networking, you'll be better off with XP Home. For the video card, this one will be fine.

thanks gizmo, ithink your right about the xp pro. I am sure xp will be fine. another question is if i get more into the gaming could i get a duplicate graphics card and installe it for better performance

yes u can bro but i suggest to get only 1 powerfull card and then get another these are good 6800gt, 7600gtx
