cases, PSU's, and barebones kits

I always have trouble shopping for cases and power supplies. Are there any good Case/PSU combos that have a good PSU in a decent case for a reasonable price? Whenever I shop for cases online, they never give much info on the PSUs that come with the case. Shipping also becomes an issue since cases are bulky. I am also interested in finding a good online vendor for barebones kits, since those can be a time saver and cheap if you find them on sale...

Look for antec cases with thier own psu's. However, thier cases mostly come with low wattage PSUs. so if you plan on doing a decent build, your better off getting a seperate case and psu.

Well I found what seems to be a good vendor, and I found a case I like. The vendor allows you to order it with or without a PSU. For $12 extra I can get a 550W chiefmax dualfan w/ SATA.. Would this be a good case/PSU combo? You can put other PSU's in, but they are spendier. This is the page for the case. It looks wicked, and only costs $31

Any of those cases is fine but none of the power supplies that they offer are any good. Buy whichever case you like and then buy a good quality power supply separately. Depending on what type of power supply you require you can still find good quality power supplies for fairly good prices. Just check with us before you buy.
