Does this seem ok so far?

I picked out couple things so far for my build. Please give me your expert advice and let me know what you think.

ASRock939 Dual-SATTA2 Socket939 ULi M1695 ATX AMD Motherboard.

eVGA 256-P2-N386 GEFORCE 6800GS 256 MB GDDDR3 PCI Express x16 Video Card.

AMD Athlon64 3700+ SanDiego 1Ghz fsb Socket 939 processor.

Patriot signature series 1GB 184 pin DDR SDRAMM DDR 400(pc3200) unbuffered dual channel.

This is just a start for now, let me know what you think please

You can't use a pci-express video card with an AGP motherboard, in fact for a new build there's no reason to buy an AGP motherboard at all.
When you find the motherboard you want either check at Crucial or download the manual to find out what ram the manufacturer recommends for it.
Yes you may be able to do better pricewise but you can't come to that decision before you know what the recommended brand is.
So, choose another (a PCI-Express x16 one this time) motherboard and find out what ram the manufacturer recommends for it.
The video card is a fine choice.

edit : Look at this for a budget motherboard : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131569

Although I don't know nothing about ASRock, I would go with ASUS, Abit [I read that they're good (Socket 939 Motherboards) for overclocking],and other reputable brands such as those. just adding my .02 cents

Get a better power supply. Look at Antec, Enermax, XClio etc. That Rosewill is junk. Look in the general hardware forum. There is a sticky on PSU's at the top of the forum. Read it....it will give the recommended brands of PSU's to use. Saving money on the PSU by going cheap is asking for trouble. The rest of the build looks good.

Ditto about the power supply; also are you going to be overclocking?
If not then get 1 GB (2x512) of ordinary ram from Crucial, it's usually Mushkin in this case, it will do the job and cost you less then the Ballistix.
The other choices are good ones.
