Parts selection looks okay, but don't you want a DVD burner instead of a CD burner?
Don't use the power supply that comes with that case. Get a SLI certified power supply (if you're going to run two video cards in SLI). SLI certified power supply list. If you don't plan on running two video cards in SLI, get a regular motherboard instead of the SLI model. Don't install the Mitsumi drive until after Windows is installed. If you install the Mitsumi before you install Windows, your C drive will be one of the card readers and not your main hard drive. Cricket

The power supply is actually the most important component in your computer but it's often the most over looked. It's very important to get a good quality power supply to supply clean, steady power to your system at the correct voltages and amps. Cheap low quality power supplies don't always provide clean power at the right voltages and amps and this can lead to system instabilities like random reboots, lockups and shutdowns. And with low quality power supplies reliability and longevity is often an issue. Some low quality power supplies have a bad habit of killing other components when they die because they lack over-voltage protection. Are you willing to take a chance with a questionable power supply?
Take a look at this thread. Cricket

The cheapest i found for now was this... Sli certified for dual video card if every and antec is good for high end build. Stable power! The cheaper video cards 500 watts under 60 $$ all seem to be under the bad list. U dont wanna risk it... Unless you do
. I'll keep looking for cheaper.http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817103932 |
