Help Please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!MY FIRST BUILD

this is my first build and i keep getting two error messgages before i have even begun to load the os. (i am using a msi rs482m mobo)

1. this first one comes up more ofter wheras the second one comes up after inserting the floppy disk that came with the mobo. it appears as follows:

For Realtek PIL8139(k)/8138/818k PCI fast ethernet controller v2.14
PXE-E61:media test failure check cable
PXE-m2f:exiting PXE Rom

-i have no idea what any of this means. what cable is it talking about , what is the PXE rom. Please help

the second message comes up when i load the floppy disk which came with the mobo and for this i am even further in the dark.

NTLDR missing
press any key to restart

-now aside from have no idea what ntldr means also whenever i do press any key it just displays the same thing over again.

What are these floppy discs for and why are you trying to use them before loading the OS?

You don't need to load those before starting up the XP installation. There is a point during the installation when Setup will ask you to install any Third Party Raid Drivers (that's what is on your floppy discs).

You don't need raid or SATA drivers for that board. The Sata controller is native. Just hook up the SATA hard drive and it should be seen in the bios and load XP just fine.

edit: And on a personal note, please stop using all the !!!. You won't attract any more attention and it's annoying to read the thread title.
