Moniter question
I just want to know, can a moniter not always work with some home made computers when the computer is at its first startup?

Well, the monitor will work fine no matter what (unless of course, it breaks down). It's the rest of the computer that may not start up...are you having problems, or just wondering?
You can always test the monitor with a known working computer to rule out the monitor.

yess i am. i will not get a display. it has not worked yet. the case dose not make any funny noises. but now to think of it the cd drive clicks. repetivly. all the fans and stuff work. but there is no display. Would it be the graphics card? because there is one on the mother board the one that i installed wich is the ATI board, could they be interfearing eachother in a way that there is no display. im thinking that if i remove the ATI board that the display would then show. also i have tryed boath moniter ports.

Try it without the video card.
If the monitor works, then the problem is somewhere else. Could be the video card, the slot it is in, or a configuration problem.
