No power To Abit board
I bought my Abit Nf-8 in september. built the machine in my signature.
2 days ago while working it just shut off. i thought it was the power supply so i bought the Ultra been meaning to up grade ant way. Now the little Led lites(LED1{5VSB}) up to show the power supply is connected but when you you press the power rocker there seems to be no system power.. i.e. the system power light (LED2{VCC}) does not come on. i am waiting on feedback from Abit. this is my second computer i have put together and i wondering how i can trouble shoot whether power is reachng the board. And whether the powersupply was really bad in the first place. Any help would be appreciated. |

Did you check all the connections to make sure you didn't miss anything? Did you make sure you connected the 4 pin connection next to the CPU - it is often forgotten.

Try this troubleshooter. You must remove the motherboard from the case when doing this. Post your results.
