upgrading to SLi
Ok, well I wasn't sure exactly which forum to put this under but oh well. Anyway, I got quite a bit of money for christmas and have been thinking about upgrading my computer to run 2 gpu's (sli). Well, my mother board is not compatible as it has only 1 pci-e slot, so I'm thinking about getting this or somthign like it (I have a 3700+ cpu) :
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131568 I have a BFG 7800gtx so obviously i'll be getting another one of those, But my psu is not Sli compatible (ENERMAX Whisper II EG565P-VE FMA2.0 ATX12V 535W Power Supply) So what would be a good recommendation for a new psu to run on my Sli rig? |

ok heres some random questions that dont really relate to this thread but anyway:
1. my cpu temp is usually 40-44 degrees celcius, is this high? if so how do i lower it? 2. ok the way the 2 case fans are hooked up are on the same power chord thingy (sorry for the lack of vocabulary) coming from the power supply. But its on one of those chords with multiple connecter things on it. Ok i know this is probably confusing because i have no idea what anything is called so heres a little diagram (which will probably confuse you more) ||psu||----|fan1|--------|fan2| ok well is this bad to have both fans on the same chord or is that what both connectors are there for? |

1) Those temps are fine
2) I think you are "daisy chaining" them. That's fine. Just as long as they are hooked up so they get power.
