splat Do these two bad boys work together?

I heard this MOBO and this PCU arent compatible. Does anyone have a clue on if they are or are not? Im working on my first build and I dont want to screw this up. Here are the links so someone can lend me a hand...

hold your horses. intel is coming out with the new dual core that actually has a affordable price. if u didnt buy this wait until a week or so.

Zipzoomfly has them now. They need an i945 or i955 chipset board, and I assume that they will work on i975 boards too, when they come out.

Gents,
see, my problem is that I already bought the MOBO and the CPU...I just NOW read that they arent compatible..but i read it from some comments page..i really dont know where to look the ACTUAL info up. I live in the arm pit of africa (congo) so its not like i can go to the nearest tech shop and ask! haha...anyhelp would be appreciated. Thanks...

no, it wont work
ur mobo's chipset nforce4 sli doesnt work with pentium 820.

Here is the processor spec page from Intel. It doesn't list any nvidia chipsets.

hey. ur lookin good. newegg is a great site, but not always the best. my favorite single company site is www.zipzoomfly.com 90% of their products are cheaper than newegg and everything comes with free fed-ex 2 day shipping. i have bought alot of products from them and they are always great to work with.

also check out www.pricegrabber.com
ive kinda been spamming that last link but the prices i see people are paying for their stuff makes me sick at times. good luck bud

According to Cricket's Link, your CPU will run as a Single Core only, but yet it will run.
