Problem with comp

Here are my specs

MSI K8MM-V mother board
512 KVR Ram 400Mhz ram
256 KVR Ram 400Mhz ram
AMD 64 3000+
MAXTOR 60GB HD HD
Radeon 256Mb Graphics Card ( not sure the exact brand)
420 Watt power source

Hey guys

Here is the problem.
When I'm playing a computer game such as WoW or CSS my computer flips out on me. I will be playing then the screen goes black and it says no signal(on the monitor). But the cpu is still running and so are all the fans.

Help?

This thread has been running at Rage3D, the ATI forum, for nearly 2 years now.
If it has anything to do with signal loss in radeon cards it's in here :

http://www.rage3d.com/board/showthread.php?t=33752579

Unless you have lots of free time don't read through the whole thing.
Just check for instances (use search) with people using your video card, your monitor or DVI or whatever you use. You get the idea.
Note though that on at least a few occassions the solution was found at the AMD forum so remember to check that out as well : http://forums.amd.com/
That's the link to the forum but click on Home to tour the rest of the site and get to the support and drivers pages.

Hi ,

I suppose you did all the check wireing stuff make sure nothing is loose.. Allso worth opening case ( power off first )and make sure you grfx card is firm in the slot .

The fact the monitor is displaying the no signal sign tells me you have nothing wrong with the monitor ...And if everything is still running on your PC then nothing wrong with that .

Loose connection is my bet ... let us know how you got on and if you get problem fixed .
