Build Problems
Hello,
I am having trouble with a computer im building for my friend. I have everything pluged in and ive triple checked all of the connections. When i plug it in and turn it on it lights up and the fans all start running but there is no video or a beep... I have reseated the ram and graphics card hoping those were the problems but alas they were not. I also tried one of my older graphics cards to see if that was the problem and I took out the ram that was inside the machine. I am hoping to have this thing up and running by the end of the week for my friend... Any suggestions? Sir Ify, The specs are... P4 2.4 ghz sockect 478 1 gb 3200 ram.. i checked to make sure it is compatable 256 mb ATI Radeon 9600.. same one in my pc 450 watt 20pin powersupply 80 gig harddrive 52x CD/R Drive |

Hi I sugest you do what has been mentioned here ...at pcmech for new builds ....Remove everthing from the case and just start with the video card and mem....be sure the Mother board is isolated and not touching anything and connected to PS
